According to Scott, yes. He's got a magical Greek muse. He even tried to convince Brad that he had to admit the muse was "real" and that he couldn't deny that. And he was using the

Brad of course called Scott's bluff and said no he did not.
Wait, Scott has a magical helper beast who writes his fart jokes for him? Seriously? Jeeze, I know that I blame the Muses when I've got a writer's/artist's block sometimes, but I'm just joking around!

Sick. Incoherent. Yay.

I don't think anyone is remotely suggesting that. they aren't even suggesting to stop participating in the social networks. they are just saying that if people want to see the definitive you that should be your site, and your site should feed things out, and then trickle back things from those networks. I guess its only recently been possible to do it now that social networks have started to open up there walled gardens.

You should take the greeks advice cause they knew more about the magic of creating stuff. because its magic. How else does scott kurtz write a fart joke? clearly he has help. I even think he might have a second helper. best part of the podcast was like 5 minutes earlier on the live feed he ripped the shit out of religion, before going on about how this magical being he created on advice from some lady has power in his life and that it is real and can't be denied.

The Greeks also ended their plays with the deus ex machina. Hell, they created it. Why should I be taking their advice for writing?

As for the bringing stuff back to your own server, essentially... as long as we don't go back to webrings, XD
