yeah, well I wasn't gonna say anything as long as things were going my way. I got two armor upgrades out of it which is pretty good actually. If them thinking I'm a girl makes them treat me the way I choose to treat everyone else in the game so much the better.

also, how cute you consider that time began when you met me <3

Yeah, well blizzard has a special channel for looking for group that you are auto put in if your group isnt full, so spamming that channel is effective and only spammy when your looking for groups. so it works. it took me about an hour and a half on saturday (the obviously busiest day) to get a group without spamming, and that was for doing the daily heroic, so it had lots of people doing that specific dungeon. Lucky for me the group i found barely needed me, and put up with my newbishness through 3 dungeons (I was mispec'd so I was doing crap for damage. I've literally doubled my dps after a respec. kinda crazy how those litttle buffs stack up...) I think them thinking I was a girl played to my advantage that time. XD

hows this for perspective, We met each other roughly around the time wow launched, probably a little after actually.

Wait, in game voice chat was only added after the fact as well? Well, yeah, I guess that makes sense... I'm not too good at relating to what was standard a few years ago on teh interwebs, I guess!

The fact that the only way to get a group is to spam kinda strikes me as hilarious, XD

Yeah, well WoW was built 5 years ago, so I'm willing to cut them some slack, they do some pretty sick things given how old the game is. The fact that everyone else is still trying to beat what WoW offered 5 years ago vs. what they offer today is of serious concern though.

Blizzard takes the stance of letting its community dictate what it wants by waiting until everyone in the community already solved the problem themselves and then only newbs will use the official tools. -_- Blizzard has a Looking for Group app in the game, but what the smart players do is spam chat channels advertising they want a group. Seriously if you just use the app you'll spend hours before anyone notices you. I think the calendar is the only thing blizzard did that people switched to vs the leading add ons at the time. I know I won't stop using omen and quest helper for there crappy imitations of those addons that blizzard made (though I'm still glad they made them just in case those addons go away XD)

At least we'll be able to take advantage of there built in voice chat so we will be like the first people ever to use it XD

Social networking + MMOs = monopoly over the interwebs.

It must be done. And I'm surprised that WOW doesn't offer private forums for guilds. It seems like a common sense thing to do, y'know?
